About Me

I’m Yaya — a Five Element Acupuncturist with a background in psychology and nearly a decade of corporate experience. I’ve built my practice to bridge ancient systems of medicine with a real, practical understanding of the stress and complexity of modern life.

I used to think acupuncture was just a painful way to treat physical aches. But when I began treatment myself, I quickly realised it was so much more. It didn’t just ease my symptoms — it gave me back a sense of vitality, hope, and connection I hadn’t felt in years.

At the time, I was burnt out, unwell, and disconnected from myself. A friend suggested I try Five Element Acupuncture. I was sceptical but curious — and to my surprise, it changed everything. My migraines faded, my back pain eased, I could finally sleep, and for the first time in a long while, I felt calm. Most importantly, I felt like me again.

The experience was so transformative that it inspired me to study this powerful system of medicine to help others feel the change and experience the hope that it brings.

Having trained under the guidance of renowned practitioners such as Gerad Kite, I now specialise in treating individuals holistically. By integrating my psychology background with the wisdom of Chinese medicine. I take a personalised approach to understand and address each person’s unique needs.

Using the ancient principles of acupuncture, I focus on the root causes of imbalance, whether they manifest physically or emotionally. Whether you're seeking relief from stress, anxiety, depression, pain, or simply looking to improve overall wellness, I am committed to helping you achieve a healthier, more balanced and happier life.
